Melissa Devaney, Early Childhood Education, Violin & Viola

Melissa Devaney is a violist, violinist, and pianist, and has been teaching Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes at the Greenwich Suzuki Academy since 2017. She has earned Suzuki violin and viola teaching credentials through long-term training at the School for Strings in Manhattan under Linda Case, and did her SECE training with Lynn McCall.

Melissa has a BA in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound, and a MA in Counseling from the University of New Mexico. She is the parent of two teenagers, a violinist and a cellist, and went through the Suzuki parent journey herself here at GSA. She lives, works, writes, and creates in Greenwich, CT.
